SOIL STABILIZATION PLANT
GAJJAR makes wet mix plants accessible in versatile and stationary models. The best mechanical design worked into the item seeks uniform mixing without detachment, correct proportioning, and blending of aggregates and included substances. The wet mix plant conveys precisely mixed cold mix, emulsion-treated mixes, etc. Our standard wet mix macadam plant comes with a strong pug mill mixer unit that helps in proper and uniform mixing. Storage SILO of suitable capacity is also provided so that you don’t have to stop the plants while waiting for trucks. The mixing unit is the most important and is designed to perform under tough operation conditions.

Working Principle
1. Aggregate Feeding and Proportioning
Aggregates of different sizes are stored in separate bins. These bins have feeders that control the flow of aggregates onto a conveyor belt. The aggregates are proportioned according to the required mix design. This is managed by a control panel that ensures the correct ratio of different sizes of aggregates is maintained.
2. Mixing
The proportioned aggregates are transferred to a pug mill mixer. Water is added to the aggregates in the mixer. The pug mill ensures thorough mixing of the aggregates and water to form a uniform mixture. This step is crucial for achieving the desired consistency and quality of the mix.
3. Storage and Loading
After mixing, the wet mix macadam is either stored in a storage silo or directly loaded into trucks. The storage silo helps in maintaining a continuous supply of the mix, ensuring that there are no delays in the construction process.
4. Laying and Compaction
At the construction site, the wet mix macadam is laid on a prepared base layer. The mixture is then compacted using rollers to achieve the desired density and strength. Proper compaction is essential for the durability and stability of the road.

Key Components of Wet Mix Plant
GAJJAR make bins are all welded and modular in construction, permitting easy addition of bins to meet growing needs. Steep bin walls and valley angles allow free flow of aggregates from the feeders minimising hang up of materials in the corners and bridging with sticky aggregates. The bins are equipped with adjustable gates. The belt feeders can have either fixed or variable speed drives. The optional variable speed drive coupled with total and proportional controls, offers greater flexibility and accuracy of operation.
GAJJAR make twin shaft pug mill design provides fast, continuous and homogeneous mixing of aggregates and additives. The shafts are mounted on extra heavy duty anti-friction bearings for smooth function and extended life. The wear resistant alloy steel selection for paddle arm and tips ensures a long life. The reversible paddle arm tips lowers maintenance costs. The liner plates are corrosion and abrasion resistant.
The load-out conveyor serves to discharge the wet mix material into a truck. At the other end, it is equipped with a GOB (Gate-Operated Bin) hopper. The GOB hopper helps control the segregation of the mixed asphalt. It is beneficial to have hydraulically operated gates for efficient operation.
The water tank has adequate extra capacity, self-priming pump, control valve and spray bar for accurate metering. A cleaning system with flexible piping is a thoughtful addition.
The 25 MT storage silo (optional in some models) is rugged, easy to erect and transfer. A fast opening hydraulically operated clamshell gate facilitates quick discharge of mix material into the truck without separation.
The weather protected cabin houses the user-friendly controls that are specifically designed for industrial installations. The logically laid out control panel ensures sequential operation of the various drives and precise process control.
